Breakfast Ice Cream

As a  mom of littles a daily struggle is getting them to actually eat something healthy! It’s important to keep introducing new foods, even if they resist and refuse to try it at first. When trying to expand our kids’ tastes consistency is KEY so don’t give up!

One go-to in our house that they LOVE and is super healthy is this “ice cream”! I change it up by switching out the fruits we use and it never fails they devour it all!

I hope your kiddos love this it as much as mine! We serve it as a treat, but they especially think it’s amazing when I let them have it for breakfast!

recipe 2

INGREDIENTS

1 Cup Frozen fruit (this was strawberries and peaches)– no sugar added!

1 frozen banana

1/4 Cup plain greek yogurt

1 tsp vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS

Blend in food processor with unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or regular milk if that’s what you have on hand) to desired thickness!

… and of course top with sprinkles!  (I freeze the leftovers and grab it back out- let it thaw for 15 mins or so and it’s good to go!)

Hope they enjoy it! It’s a great adult treat too!
